Orange Armenia (France Telecom)
Alpha Plus Consulting supported Orange Armenia (France Telecom) with a large-scale, nationwide quantitative study assessing mobile service usage, customer preferences, and emerging digital market niches. The team asked 1,350 individual users and 150 small office/home office clients about their experiences, giving Orange clear information about how customers behave, how satisfied they are with services, and what needs are not being met as the The analysis allowed Orange to refine its service packages, improve customer segmentation, and tailor its commercial strategy to the rapidly evolving Armenian telecom landscape.
Microsoft Corporation
For Microsoft, Alpha Plus Consulting delivered a continuous, multi-year corporate ICT usage survey, targeting PC and server infrastructure among business customers. The project assessed the size of the software market, the prevalence of licensed versus unlicensed software, and the readiness of enterprises to adopt Microsoft solutions. Findings were directly used by Microsoft and its partners to strengthen customer outreach, support compliance initiatives, and expand penetration across both SME and large corporate sectors. The study became one of the first systematic measurements of corporate software usage trends in Armenia.
Pernod Ricard (Yerevan Brandy Company)
Alpha Plus Consulting has conducted several advanced consumer behaviour and brand positioning studies for Yerevan Brandy Company, part of the Pernod Ricard global group. Specifically, we conducted qualitative category and competition analysis through focus groups in Russia, which studied the perceptions of Armenian brandy, packaging cues, purchasing criteria, and the competitive positioning of ARARAT brandy. The study also included a comprehensive U&A survey of 650 premium hard-liquor consumers, which yielded detailed insights into their taste preferences, brand awareness, loyalty patterns, and emerging consumption trends. These studies helped Pernod Ricard refine its branding, adjust marketing messages, and maintain ARARAT's leadership in key markets.
Philip Morris International
Working with Philip Morris Management Services B.V., Alpha Plus Consulting implemented a specialised market-penetration and customer-profiling survey to assess acceptance of a new cigarette brand prior to market entry. Using systematic random sampling, the firm captured perceptions, attitudes, and purchasing behaviours across targeted demographic groups. The resulting insights enabled Philip Morris to optimise its launch strategy, positioning, and promotional resources for the Armenian market.
Marriott International
Alpha Plus Consulting supported the tourism and hospitality sector through advisory services provided to high-profile hotel operators, including assignments for Marriott (via sector-wide analyses and related hospitality market studies included in your portfolio of corporate advisory experience). These studies strengthened strategic planning and provided valuable competitive intelligence for international operators evaluating investment prospects, customer preferences, and service delivery standards in Armenia’s evolving hospitality industry.
National Instruments & Synopsys
Although not single-client commissions, National Instruments and Synopsys—two leading multinational technology companies with major operations in Armenia—were directly covered through Alpha Plus Consulting’s Compensation and Benefits Survey for ICT sector companies, the first private-sector–driven, self-financed salary benchmarking study in the Armenian tech industry. The landmark assignment evaluated the remuneration packages, HR trends, skills gaps, and incentive structures of 16 major ICT companies, including National Instruments and Synopsys. The findings supported these high-tech firms in improving recruitment, retention, and competitiveness within Armenia’s rapidly developing ICT ecosystem.
